JOHN T. NOVAK
Managing Director, President and CEO

Mr. Novak is the co-founder of CBp Carbon Industries and a principal investor in the Company. He is responsible for all strategic matters including corporate direction, financial management and governmental relations.

Mr. Novak has over 22 years of experience as an entrepreneur and businessman. For the past 19 years, he has participated in the development of successful business ventures in Central and Eastern Europe in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, real estate development, name brand product distribution and investment. He served as a Senior Advisor to the Managing Director of Creditanstalt Bank in Austria (now a subsidiary of Bank Austria Group) where he helped create investment strategies in the burgeoning field of privatization during the 1990's in Eastern Europe.

From 2004 until 2006, Mr. Novak served as the President of the Slovak-Canadian Chamber of Commerce regularly interacting with high level government officials and businessmen in the promotion of new business initiatives.


Dr. Panayotis (Peter) G. Tsantrizos
Senior Vice President Technology, COO, CTO

Dr. Tsantrizos has been developing and commercializing advanced environmental and materials technologies since 1978.

He began his professional work with Arthur D. Little where he participated in various environmental studies. Between 1983 and 1988, he worked for Canada’s National Research Council and for McGill University where he developed various plasma technologies for the production of high performance materials. Between 1988 and 1991, he led the Advanced Materials Program at the Noranda Technology Centre. In 1991, Dr. Tsantrizos founded PyroGenesis Inc. a company that developed and commercialized a number of advanced materials as well as some world-leading environmental technologies. At PyroGenesis, Dr. Tsantrizos served as the Chairman and Chief Technology Officer and was responsible for most of the company’s operations, including the technology development, production and marketing. In April 2004, Dr. Tsantrizos founded Terragon and has served as the company’s President, Chief Executive Office and Chief Technology Officer. He has led all operations of Terragon, including the development of its proprietary waste treatment technologies.

Dr. Tsantrizos holds 18 patents and over 50 publications, most related to waste treatment technologies. Examples of technologies developed and commercialized by Dr. Tsantrizos include: (i) the Plasma Arc Waste Destruction System (PAWDS), which is currently the most compact and efficient technology for the treatment of waste on board large cruise ships and aircraft carriers; (ii) the Plasma Atomization process used to produce the world’s highest quality titanium powders for biomedical applications; (iii) numerous plasma sprayed protective coatings used in the mining and pulp & paper industries, and (iv) the Micro Auto Gasification System (MAGS), which is the world's first compact waste gasification appliance, enabling people to treat the waste they generate locally and eliminate waste transfer.

Dr. Tsantrizos was born in Athens, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1971 at the age of 15. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in 1978 and his Ph.D. from the same university in 1988.


ADI MULJO
Director, CFO, Executive Vice President Business Development

Mr. Muljo will identify and develop markets for CBp Carbon products in North America, Europe and the Far East.

Between 1971 and 1998, Mr. Muljo held senior executive positions with the Astra Group, Indonesia's largest conglomerate and the world's biggest producer of rubber and rubber products. He served as General Manager of its Xerox Division and as Managing Director of Inter Delta, Indonesia's sole distributor for Kodak and Canon. From 1981 until 1998, he headed Astra's Vancouver and Baltimore MD offices, overseeing the company's expansion in North America. In 1998, he founded the AMG Group based in Maryland to promote trade between North America and several Asian and European countries.

Mr. Muljo holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in finance.


PETER K. JENSEN, LL.B, BCL, B.Sc.
Director

Mr. Jensen is an international lawyer and name partner in the law firm Devlin Jensen, one of the leading corporate and securities firms in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He will be assist CBp Carbon Industries in corporate and securities matters and in capitalization. Mr. Jensen has broad experience in cross-border transactions advising both Canadian companies wishing to become US reporting and trading issuers and US companies wishing to become Canadian reporting and trading issuers, either through RTOs or IPOs. He has advised clients in the Orient, Europe, Africa and Latin America and has established a wide range of professional contacts in these areas. He has also served as a Director of companies with capitalization in the hundreds of millions and has assisted his clients in the raising of capital in Canada, Europe, the United States and Hong Kong. Mr. Jensen earned his Bachelor of Science and Law Degrees at McGill University (with a dual degree in common and civil law).


WIM W.D.A.M. KEMPERINK
Director of the Supervisory Board of Environmental Solutions SRO

Mr. Kemperink has extensive experience in the financial, banking and investment fields.

Over the past 30 years, Wim has served as the Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Netherlands, as a Board Member of Friesland Bank Netherlands, as Chairman of the Board of Van Calcar Insurance Brokers Group(a subsidiary of Aegon), and most recently as Managing Partner of MEI Middle Europe Investment Group. In the last 5 years, MEI has invested over $750m USD in Middle Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, and the former East Germany). Mr. Kemperink studied civil, corporate and tax law at the University of Nijmegan in the Netherlands.
